Recipe from the Dutch Oven
ingredients
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 packet of active dry yeast
2 cups of warm water (about 110 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit)
Directions
In a large bowl, beat together the flour, salt and yeast.
Gradually add the warm water and use a wooden spoon to stir the ingredients together until well absorbed and a soft, sticky dough is formed. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in a warm, dry place for 12 to 18 hours, until the dough is twice as large and the surface is covered with air bubbles.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees, and once it has reached the desired temperature place the empty Dutch oven with the lid on, within 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, carefully sprinkle your work surface and hands, and after punching, remove the dough from the bowl and sprinkle a little flour over it. Fold the dough one or more times on itself and tuck the ends underneath to form a ball.
Place the dough on a sheet of lightly flowered parchment paper and lightly sprinkle with more flour. Cover with a sheet of plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Carefully remove the Dutch Oven from the hot oven and remove the lid.
Remove the plastic foil from the dough and place it and the baking paper in the Dutch oven and cover with the lid.
Put the container back in the oven and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake another 15 to 20 minutes more, until the crust is rich, golden brown or until the internal temperature has reached 200 degrees.
Carefully remove the bread from the Dutch oven and let it cool on a rack before cutting it.
To enjoy!
