Appliance Repair
I went to a service visit in this refrigerator and it did not cool, the compressor did not work, but the condenser fan motor was running. I turned off the refrigerator, then removed the starter relay from the compressor and tested ohms, my meter did not read any ohms, so it was bad. Normally it would be between 3-12 ohms if it were correct.
Then I plugged the refrigerator and took a voltage measurement on the electrical connector that is connected to the compressor starter relay and read 124 volts AC, so it got the correct voltage. I had a new compressor starter relay in my truck and I installed it and the compressor started immediately and began to cool.
